Found this interesting front bag and support combo on eBay France. Note the bent/formed aluminum support, which loops over the bars like the old Eclipse bags (and others?).

Now in top-quality tack leather. Only color available so far is pink, but I should have some light grey soon.

Leather Washers

Decided to try my hand at punching leather washers. These are handy for installing aluminum fenders - the leather conforms to the shape of the soft aluminum and keeps the fenders from rattling. Over time they flatten-out and loose some of their resilience, so a fresh supply will keep things quite and secure.

Snake Belly!

Found another cool fender pattern on eBay France. What shal we call THIS one? I'm thinking snake belly for now.

Peugeot Rack and Tool Boxes Donor Bike

Eric Meddaugh sent me the link to an auction for the same kind of bike that was the likely donor for the Peugeot rear rack and tool boxes. Thanks, Eric!


Bike is labelled Ruche and is described as "Exeptionnal old bike from the Peugeot Manufactures! Helium Series for Ruche's sellers! It seems come from the 1950's, the bike is fully working and in very good shape ( paint, chroms ans plastic are in very good condition). Of course, there is some rust and wear (usury) ! Everything on the bike is original only the tires who was too dry and we change it. Exeptionnal Parisian Gentleman Bicycle."
