Can anyone provide more information on the long Campagnolo front qr lever shown in the first photo? (A " normal" lever shown is in second photo.)

looks like the lever for the mini hand operated front derailleur. but looking at the one we have here, it is not threaded for a nut. first I have ever seen of it.
Any chance that could have been a grafted on lever from a Cambio derailleur unlock, or something like that ?
Manufacturing error that got by Gino in inspection.
